WINE TASTING NOTES:
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 28 Pinot Blanc – Perfectly balanced for immediate enjoyment, this wine will continue to evolve and reward over the next five years. Ripe citrus and greengage plum layered with citrus and grapefruit peel. This dry, refreshing crisp palate is versatile and will age gracefully with careful cellaring.
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 9 Riesling – A textural palate with chalky phenolics underlying fresh citrus and clover honey flavours. The residual sugar gives a sweet flush on the mid palate, but the wine finishes dry
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 11 Chardonnay – Complex and full bodied with rich flavours of peach, dried fig and coffee bean. A rich rounded mouthfeel is enhanced by warm spice, toasted oak notes and vanilla on the finish.
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 10 Pinot Noir – Dense, dark and brooding with complex mixed forest berry flavours, coffee, new leather and a rich silky structure. The finish is long and lingering with a combination or charred oak, spice and savoury notes.
